The Aquarium of Barcelona, located in Port Vell is one of Europe’s biggest marine leisure and the largest Mediterranean-themed aquarium in the world.

Its mission is to provide visitors with a greater understanding of undersea life with 11,000 marine animals from 450 different species which live in five million litres of water.

With your ticket you’ll also be able to visit the permanent exhibitions, Planeta Aqua and Explora! which show the importance of water in the development of our planet, and where kids can discover the underwater world by using their five senses.
